Eco bank Port Harcourt: Freezes accounts to stay afloat.
This was the scene at Eco bank Port Harcourt where the customers was waiting to make a cash withdrawal. The bank management made a persuasive decision to give the customers below what they want. One of the customers said he wanted to withdraw Two hundred thousand naira but they gave him One hundred thousand naira instead. Same thing with a lady who wrote A Hundred thousand naira on the withdrawal slip was given Fifty thousand naira. Same thing goes to each and every one of them. The Staffs was questioned by the angry and aggressive customers why they made such decision the bankers said it's for them to maintain the system balanced so that the cash outflows will not be higher than the cash inflows. The customers reprobated at this decision. The queue was very much that people were meant to sit on the floor and wait for their turn. This is elusive.

Dog eats new born baby in Bauchi
By Suzan Edeh
BAUCHI— There was outrage, yesterday, at Gwallameji, the Federal Polytechnic Student Village, Bauchi State when a dog was found eating a new born baby abandoned at a refuse dump.
Vanguard reports that several of such incidents have been recorded in the area with this coming less than four months after the lifeless body of a new born baby in a polythene bag was found at a refuse dump in the same area.
It was learnt that the incident attracted many people to the scene.
An eye witness, who only gave his name as Isaiah, said: “I was coming back from church when I saw many people behind a house away from ours. I became curious and went to see what was happening there.
“What I saw there was disgusting and annoying. It was someone, who dumped a new born baby at a refuse dump and a dog was found eating it (the baby).
“From the look of things and from what I heard people say, the baby was abandoned alive but was killed by the dog.
“How can someone do this to an innocent child? How can a human life be treated with such levity? It’s so bad and inhumane.”
He said some of the onlookers dug a shallow pit and buried the remains of the baby just beside the refuse site.
Contacted on phone, the traditional Chief of Gwallameji, Hassan Ibrahim, confirmed the incident, saying he was not at the scene personally to see things.
He said: “I got a call from someone informing me of the incident but I told the person that I was not around. When I called the number back, I was told that Wakilin Sarkin Gwallameji (representative of the chief of Gwallameji), Sanusi Mohammed, was already there.
“Since he was there, I continued with what I was doing knowing that he would handle everything well. As I speak with you now, I haven’t met him yet for information on the incident.”
Efforts to get comment from the Police were fruitless as several calls put through to the mobile phone of the Acting Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Bauchi State Command, Haruna Mohammed, failed.

I will expose secrets that will sink Nigeria: Nnamdi Kalu
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has threatened that he would expose secrets that are capable of sinking Nigeria. Kanu gave the threat at his resumed trial on Tuesday.
In the Tuesday’s ruling, trial Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja granted the Federal Government the nod to shield identities of witnesses billed to testify against Nnamdi Kanu.
Justice Nyako who held that names of all the prosecution witnesses who are mostly security operatives, would not be disclosed in any record of the court proceedings also said that the witnesses would be allowed to testify against the defendants behind a screen that would be provided by the court.
Justice Nyako however stressed that both the defendants and their counsel would be allowed to see the witnesses who she said would enter and exit the courtroom through a special door.
However, Kanu immediately rejected the court ruling, insisting that it was against the tenets of Justice and fair hearing.
“I won’t stand this travesty of Justice. Buhari spoke in public, he accused me in public. I must also be allowed to stand my trial in public”, Kanu bellowed from the dock.
“This is nonsense! I will give testimony before this court! By the time I finish, there will be no Nigeria. This is no Sharia court. It is a court that operates under the common law.
“There will be no screening of witnesses, no fake identities or fake addresses. I cannot be tried in secret. No! Nnamdi Kanu cannot be jailed in secret! They are mad. Why must I be tried in secrecy by a government that does not obey court orders.
“They are killing my people in public, after killing my people they want to try me in private? That person is mad. I won’t allow it. “, Kanu fumed.
The IPOB leader is facing an11-count charge alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Mr. Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
Charges against the accused persons border on reasonable felony and their alleged involvement in acts of terrorism.
The defendants had earlier alleged plot by the Federal Government to import foreigners to testify against them.

Taiwan's push to legalise same-sex marriage
Cindy and Lana have a son and a daughter and form one of Taiwan's newest types of family.
They hope same-sex marriage will be legalised there, a move that would make Taiwan the first place in Asia to approve it.
But opposition is growing, especially from religious groups.

Female suicide bombers kill 31 in Nigeria market
Twin bombings killed at least 31 people at a market in Madagali, Nigeria, on Friday in an apparent suicide attack carried out by two females, a military spokesman said.
The "female bombers detonated an IED (improvised explosive device) inside a local market," according to a tweet from the National Emergency Management Agency in Nigeria.
Residents of Madagali, in northeast Nigeria's Adamawa state, said the explosions also resulted in numerous injuries.
"The military are in full control of the security situation in the area so there is no security threat," said military spokesman Maj. Badare Akintoye.
Madagali is located on the border with Borno state, the birthplace of the militant group Boko Haram, and has incurred many attacks and abductions since the military retook the area from the militants in 2015.
The attacks have prevented residents from resuming normal commercial and social activities in the area, locals said.
Local leaders have called on Nigeria's government to deploy soldiers to villages and bushes connecting the area with Sambisa Forest, where Boko Haram militants are believed to have set up camps.

4 wounded as car hits a boutique and a grocery store.
It was a cool afternoon along Okwe Road Asaba Opposite the filling station under construction. When a Lexus 330 hits a boutique and a grocery store. The driver of the car which is a lady lost control and forcefully hits the store where a woman and a young girl were seated, but eventually the young girl saw the car coming at an uncontrollable speed and they rushes out before the car hits.
In the scene was a bike man (okada) with the passenger packed closer to the boutique and unfortunately the car hits them with force giving them severe injuries. One had a big cut on his leg which he may or may not survive of, cause blood was already gushing out while the other had a cut on the arm. They were immediately rushed to Maximilian Hospital Okwe, Asaba.
On the interview with one of the victims, she told Bananakingz blog that the lady driving the car was overspeeding and that made her lose control. "Na God o, God saved me and my neighbor, we should have been in the hospital or somewhere else by now, though my neighbor had an injury on the ankle but that's minor" the lady said.
On another disclosed interview with an eyewitness said that the lady driving the car is an amateur. Report said that the lady ran away immediately she hits the boutique maybe out of fear or something, but returned to the scene with the husband minutes later.
Short after they took the casualties to the hospital report reaches us that the leg may be amputated but can still undergo surgery to make sure he gets back on his feet. "It was a terrible and a fatal accident,we pray the man will not die cause the cut was deep" said one of the eyewitnesses.
They towed the Lexus away after some road control officers came to the scene while some people helped in packing the goods and some fallen blocks and bricks making sure everything is okay.

Why is Softbank investing in the US now?
The two billionaires couldn't have looked more at ease with one another, as they announced the investment from Japan's Softbank into US start-ups.
But why is Masayoshi Son, one of Japan's most eccentric businessmen, investing in Trump's America at a time when the US is seemingly focusing less on Asia?
Here are three reasons:
Betting the farm on Sprint:
Softbank paid $22bn (£17.3bn) for a controlling stake in US telecoms firm Sprint in 2013, which was the number 3 operator at that time. But that investment has lost around $7bn of its value largely because Sprint lost ground against its competitors.
One of the ways Softbank had hoped to claw back a profit was by buying T-Mobile, Sprint's main competition in the States. But that deal took a backseat after US regulators signalled they weren't in favour.
Cosying up to the new US president by doing a deal that makes him look good would be one way to smoothe those regulatory issues in the future.
Exposure to US tech firms:
Japan isn't really the centre of innovation and technology as it once was, Marc Einstein at Frost & Sullivan tells me. He covers the sector from Tokyo, and as he put it, "Japan has really fallen behind on tech".
So being in the US and having a foothold in the sector would give Masayoshi Son access to Silicon Valley, and more importantly, what people there are thinking and doing and what the future of IoT (Internet of Things) looks like.
Billionaire buddies:
The camaraderie between the two men is hard to miss - just look at that video again if you need convincing. "They're both billionaires, they're both mavericks and they're both gamblers," says Mr Einstein.
"I can see them sitting down and having a positive discussion." According to Mr Einstein the two are likely to share a good rapport - and that means they "understand one another and speak each other's language" - which perhaps suggests both sides understand what a good deal means.
The Son Seal of credibility for Trump?
The $50bn that Masayoshi Son has bet on the new relationship with the president-elect isn't small change by any account. Creating 50,000 jobs is also no small feat to achieve.
Having said that, the $50bn is coming from a previously announced $100bn Saudi venture - that was created before the election - so some would argue this was money that was coming the US's way in any case.
But Mr Trump has rushed to claim this as his victory.
The Japanese business leader's investment will no doubt be used as evidence by the Trump team that even as it pulls out of global trade deals like the Trans Pacific Partnership, the US is open for business - and that companies like Softbank are breaking down the door to get in.

FC Porto 5-0 Leicester City
Already qualified Leicester City suffered the worst defeat by an English team in the Champions League as Porto recorded an overwhelming victory to join the Foxes in the last 16.
Leicester were already assured of progressing as Group G winners before the game and boss Claudio Ranieri made 10 changes to his starting XI.
Porto needed to win to guarantee their place in the knockout stage and made the ideal start when Andre Silva headed home.
The Portuguese side dominated throughout, with Leicester rarely making it out of their own half, and added a deserved second through Jesus Corona's stunning volley.
Yacine Brahimi then scored a brilliant third just before half-time, backheeling Maxi Pereira's cross beyond goalkeeper Ben Hamer, before Silva converted a second-half penalty following Danny Drinkwater's foul.
Diogo Jota rounded off the scoring late on, slotting home after being put through on goal.
The result took some of the shine off Leicester's previous performances in the Champions League this season, but they can now look forward to the draw for the last 16, which takes place on Monday at around 11:00 GMT.

JUST IN: Trump Is Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year'
President-elect Donald Trump has been named Time magazine's Person of the Year for 2016.
Every year, Time editors select the person — or idea — who has most influenced the news and the world.
Past recipients include President Barack Obama, President George W. Bush, Pope Francis, Pope John Paul II and Martin Luther King, Jr.
"To be on the cover of Time as Person of the Year is a tremendous honor," Trump told Matt Lauer after the reveal.
Trump did take issue with the fact that Time referred to him as "President of the Divided States of America."
"I think putting 'divided' is snarky," Trump said. "I didn’t do anything to divide."
Trump won the honor over ten other finalists, including Hillary Clinton, Vladimir Putin, Mark Zuckerberg and Beyoncé.

Kanye West cancels Los Angeles concert hours after wild post-election rant
Kanye West canceled a concert in Los Angeles on Sunday night hours after going on a rant about President-elect Donald Trump, Jay-Z, and Beyonce and cutting short a show in Sacramento.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the show was canceled three hours before the show was set to begin at The Forum. Refunds would be made available, the venue tweeted. West’s label, Ticketmaster nor Live Nation have given any explanation for the cancellation.
The latest drama comes after West cut short is Sacramento show after going on a wild rant about Trump and others. Captured on video by concert-goers Saturday night in Sacramento, West in an over 10-minute tirade told the audience he was on his "Trump (expletive) tonight." He talked about Beyonce, Jay Z, Hillary Clinton, Mark Zuckerberg, the radio and MTV at the stop of his Saint Pablo Tour.
Saturday's outburst and truncated show became a hot topic on Twitter and other social platforms Sunday morning, as amateur videos circulated of West's rant where, among other things, he said he was hurt because he heard Beyonce refused to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards unless she won Video of the Year over him. He also urged her husband Jay Z to call him and "talk to me like a man."
West took aim at radio stations for playing the same stuff "over and over and over," too and also addressed Hillary Clinton.
"It's a new world, Hillary Clinton, it's a new world," West said. "Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way and they showed you how they felt. Feelings matter, bro."
The performer said he was putting his life, career and "public well-standing" at risk by talking to the fans in the audience "like this," adding that his Saint Pablo tour "is the most relevant (expletive) happening."
He continued: "I am here to change things. And things won't change until people admit their own falsehoods. I got the visions, bro. That's what I've been blessed with. My vision. I'm not always going to say things the perfect way, the right way. But I'm going to say how I feel."
West’s tour was slated to resume Tuesday night in Fresno, but LA Times music writer Gerrick Kennedy reported that West had told Saint Pablo tour crew members that the remaining U.S. dates were canceled.

This Celebrities Were Kidding When They Talked About Leaving the U.S. After Trump's Victory
Celebrities Getting Cold Feet About Leaving the U.S. After Trump's Victory
Before Donald Trump's stunning election victory, dozens of celebrities - including Chelsea Handler, Whoopi Goldberg and Amy Schumer - said they would leave the country if he won the presidency.
Now, they're not so sure...
Chelsea Handler, who hosts “Chelsea” on Netflix, tearfully said on her show Thursday that she will remain in the U.S.
“It’s so easy to say throw in the towel and that we’re going to leave or I’m going to move to Spain, because I want to move to Spain. I really, really want to move to Spain right now,” she told her audience. “And everyone in my office is like, 'You have a responsibility, you have a voice and you need to use it and you have to be there.'"
Goldberg told viewers of "The View" on Thursday that she had been "incorrectly lumped in" with celebrities who had claimed they would leave if Trump was elected.
"I’m sorry to disillusion you, but I’m not leaving the country that I was born and raised in,” Goldberg said.
On Wednesday, Schumer shared an Instagram post, claiming that "the interview where I said I would move was in London and was said in jest."
Other stars who have talked about moving in the event of a Trump win include Cher, Bryan Cranston, Lena Dunham, Sienna Miller and Samuel L. Jackson. So far, none have confirmed plans to leave the country.
On "Fox & Friends Weekend" this morning, Pete Hegseth called this another example of "Hollywood duplicity."

Thousands take to streets in major cities to protest Trump election
Thousands of people coast-to-coast took to the streets Wednesday night to protest Donald Trump’s election, disrupting traffic, chanting anti-Trump slogans and some ending up in handcuffs.
From New England to heartland cities like Kansas City and along the West Coast, demonstrators bore flags and effigies of the president-elect, disrupting traffic and declaring that they refused to accept Trump's victory.
Some California cities saw heated tensions over Trump’s election. Thousands of protesters burned a giant papier mache Trump head in Los Angeles and
started fires in Oakland intersections.
Los Angeles demonstrators also beat a Trump piñata and sprayed the Los Angeles Times building and news vans with anti-Trump profanity. One protester outside
LA City Hall read a sign that simply said "this is very bad."
Late in the evening several hundred people blocked one of the city's busiest freeways, U.S. 101 between downtown and Hollywood.
Los Angeles police told CBS Los Angeles that at least 13 people were arrested in the protests.
In Oakland, several thousand people gathered in Frank Ogawa Palaza, police said, clogging intersections and
freeway on-ramps. According to KTVU, police used tear gas to disperse protesters after an unlawful assembly was declared.
Oakland police said one protesters was cited and a small number of protesters were arrested on suspicion
of disobedience.
A similar protest in Manhattan drew about 1,000 people. Outside Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in midtown, police installed barricades to keep the demonstrators at bay.
According to NBC New York, at least 60 people were arrested in the Manhattan protests.
“America is not voting for Donald Trump’s policies, which don’t exist,” one protester told the station. “They
voted for sexism, racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism.”
Other protesters echoed “Not my president” chants, which had been heard in several cities across the U.S.
In Chicago, several thousand people marched through the Loop. They gathered outside Trump Tower,
chanting “Not my president!” One resident Michael Burke said he believes the president-elect stands to
divide the nation and stir up a deep-seated hatred. He added there was a constitutional duty not to accept
that outcome.
Hundreds of protesters gathered near Philadelphia's
City Hall despite chilly, wet weather. Participants — who included both supporters of Democratic nominee
Hillary Clinton and independent Vermont Sen. Bernie
Sanders, who lost to Clinton in the primary —
expressed anger at both Republicans and Democrats over the election's outcome.
In Boston, thousands of anti-Trump protesters streamed through downtown, chanting"Trump's a racist" and carrying signs that said "Impeach Trump"
and "Abolish Electoral College." Clinton appears to be on pace to win the popular vote, despite losing the electoral count that decides the presidential race.
In the Midwest, protesters gathered in Minneapolis, Omaha, Nebraska and Kansas City Missouri. The Des
Moines Register also reported that Iowa’s capital city saw some people protest as well, though it was kept to
small numbers.
Marchers protesting Trump's election chanted and carried signs in front of the Trump International Hotel
in Washington, D.C.
Media outlets broadcast video Wednesday night showing a peaceful crowd in front of the new downtown hotel. Many chanted "No racist USA, no Trump, no KKK."
Another group stood outside the White House. They held candles, listened to speeches and sang songs.
Dallas activists gathered by the dozens outside the city's sports arena, the American Airlines Center.
In Oregon, dozens of people blocked traffic in downtown Portland, burned American flags and forced a delay for trains on two light-rail lines. Earlier, the protest in downtown drew several Trump supporters,
who taunted the demonstrators with signs. A lone Trump supporter was chased across Pioneer Courthouse Square and hit in the back with a skateboard before others intervened.
'Not My President' Anti-Trump Protests Following
Trump Win
Thousands protested the election of Donald Trump in
cities across the country Wednesday night.

T.B Joshua: False prophecy.
The founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations,
Temitope Joshua, has predicted a “narrow” victory for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, ahead of the November 8 election.
Mr. Joshua (popularly known as TB Joshua) spoke during his church sermon on Sunday, his first appearance at the church over the past several weeks.
“Ten days ago, I saw the new President of America with a narrow win,” he said in his prophecy which was
later posted on the church’s official Facebook account.
“The new President will be facing several challenges over many issues, including: passing bills, attempts to possibly pass a vote of no confidence on the new
President. The boat of the new President will be rocked.
“By the way, in order not to keep you in suspense, what I frankly saw is a woman.”
NOW THE QUESTION IS:
Is T.B Joshua a false prophet because the result of the election turns out to be against what he said. The election ended in favor of D. Trump who won the recently conducted election. Trump is the new American President. Will T B Joshua ever regret saying this? Will his memebers see this as a mistake? But remember God never lies. What will the world say about this false prophecy? The answer to this questions is unknown. But one thing is clear to every human Real and True prophets never gives False prophecy.

US election 2016 result: Trump beats Clinton to take
White House
Donald Trump will become the 45th US president after
a stunning victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
The Republican nominee's victory came down to a
handful of key swing states, despite months of polling
that favoured Mrs Clinton.
The battlegrounds of Florida, Ohio and North Carolina
cleared the way for his Brexit-style upset.
Global markets plummeted, with the US dollar diving
and gold prices surging.
Five ways the world could change
Five reasons Donald Trump won
An astonishing new chapter in US history
What will President Trump do first?
The hotel developer who became president
Mr Trump's shock victory in Wisconsin put him over
the 270 out of 538 electoral college votes needed to
win the White House, after a gruelling and rancorous
campaign.
The US president-elect took to the stage with his
family at his victory rally in a New York hotel ballroom
and said: "I just received a call from Secretary Clinton.
She congratulated us on our victory.
"Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long
period of time, and we owe her a major debt of
gratitude for her service to our country."
He added: "It is time for us to come together as one
united people."
The real estate tycoon, former reality TV star and
political newcomer, who was universally ridiculed when
he declared his candidacy in June last year, said his
victory had been "tough".
Mr Trump has so far won 28 US states, smashing into
Mrs Clinton's vaunted electoral firewall in Pennsylvania
and Wisconsin, states that have not supported a
Republican presidential candidate since 1988 and 1984
respectively.
He also prevailed in Iowa, which has not elected a
Republican since 2004.
Mr Trump held on to solidly Republican territory,
including in Georgia, Arizona and Utah, where the
Clinton campaign had invested resources in the hope of
flipping the states.
Mr Trump will take office in January with Congress fully
under Republican control as Democrats were unable to
wrest control of the Senate in Tuesday's general
election.
Mrs Clinton, 69, has only notched up victories in 18 US
states and the District of Columbia.
New Hampshire and Michigan - which had also been
expected to fall in the Clinton column - remained too
close to call as of Wednesday morning.
The Democratic candidate, who dreamed of becoming
the first female US president, did not show up for what
was meant to be her victory rally across town in
Manhattan.
The mood was dark at her election night party in the
Javits Center, as supporters wept and left early.
At Trump headquarters earlier, his fans cheered and
chanted about the Democratic nominee: "Lock her up!"
In other developments:
Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Mr
Trump, saying he was hopeful of "bringing US-Russia
relations out of their critical condition"
As the result became clear, crowds outside the
White House broke out into spontaneous protests
whileTrump supporters cheered
Massachusetts, Nevada and California voted to
legalise recreational marijuana, which could lead to
the creation of the largest market for marijuana
products in the US
Nationwide exit polls underscored America's stark
divide.
Male voters were much more likely to back Mr Trump,
while women backed Mrs Clinton by a double-digit
margin.
Nearly nine in 10 black voters and two-thirds of Latinos
voted for the Democrat, but more than half of white
voters backed the Republican.
Mr Trump, a populist billionaire, provoked controversy
on the campaign trail for comments about women,
Muslims and a plan to build a wall along the US-
Mexican border.
He fired up white, working-class American voters who
were angry at the Washington establishment and felt
left behind by globalisation.
On the eve of the vote, Mrs Clinton was ahead by four
points in a BBC aggregate of opinion polls, but it was
well within the margin of error.
She saw her campaign dogged by FBI investigations
into whether she abused state secrets by operating a
private email server during her time as US secretary of
state.
Last Sunday, the law enforcement bureau cleared her
once again of any criminality.
Mr Trump and Mrs Clinton were vying to succeed
Democratic President Barack Obama.
After two four-year terms in the White House, he was
barred by the US constitution from running for re-
election.

End time: A circle formed in the sky and there was noise like trumpets sounds.
In a video, posted by Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu, strange things can be seen in a sky in Isreal.
The post was captioned, "the wonders that happened yesterday in d morning in Israel God showed his signal with trumpet sound in a circle object formed by cloud in d sky every body stood still till it disappeared . pls have ur life cleaned up and be ready in think the D day is close by."
No one can explain the ring or something that looks like a fire in the cloud, but i think it is safe to say that this video is a reminder that Jesus IS COMING BACK!
No one knows how or when this return will take place, but the Bible describes what will happen.
Revelation 19:11-12 says, "Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself."
"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory, " Matthew 24:30 adds.
Hope you will be ready for His return.
Clinton drops below 270
Clinton's electoral vote total is at 268 when you add up
all the states that are solidly or leaning in her direction
and Donald Trump's is 204 when you combine all the
states that are solidly or leaning in his direction. That
leaves six remaining battleground contests worth a
total of 66 electoral votes in Arizona, Florida, Nevada,
New Hampshire, North Carolina, and the second
congressional district in and around Omaha, Nebraska.
It's important to note what this map reflects and what
it does not reflect: while Trump has made gains,
Clinton remains in a much stronger electoral position
than the GOP nominee. In the current snapshot, Clinton
would only need to win one of the remaining toss-up
states to secure the presidency. Trump needs to win
all of them. However, this current map does represent
an ever-so-slightly less steep mountain for him to to
climb to 270 electoral votes.
The changes to the map reflect current polling,
reporting with the campaigns and affiliated groups
tracking the state of play in each critical state,
television advertising decisions made by the campaigns
and outside groups, and the candidate/surrogate travel
schedules.
This is not a prediction of where the map will end up
on Tuesday night when the votes are counted, it is
simply a snapshot heading into the homestretch.

FINAL DAY: Electoral Scorecard: Map shifts again in Trump's favor, as Clinton holds edge
The battleground map is shifting once again in Donald Trump’s favor, according to the latest Fox News Electoral Scorecard, portending a potentially tight race Tuesday against Hillary Clinton, who continues to hold the electoral-vote advantage.
According to an update to the scorecard released Monday, Clinton can still get to the necessary 270 electoral votes by winning all the states rated “solid” or “leaning” Democratic.
But just barely. Doing so would get Clinton to 274.
Trump is looking at a narrow – but expanding – path to 270, and he could win by snatching up the toss-ups and flipping at least one state currently seen as leaning toward Clinton.
WASHINGTON STATE ELECTOR SAYS HE WON’T VOTE FOR CLINTON
The following updates were made Monday morning to the Fox News Decision Team’s ratings for key battlegrounds:
Arizona changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
Iowa changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
Nevada changes from “toss up” to “lean Democrat”
North Carolina changes from “lean Democrat” to “toss up”
Utah changes from “toss up” to “lean Republican”
All but the rating change in Nevada reflect an improving picture for the Republican nominee, even as the latest polls show a mixed picture. A Fox News poll released Monday morning showed Clinton expanding her lead to 4 points nationally.
If Trump wins the “solid Republican” states along with those currently seen as leaning in his direction he’d come away with 215 electoral votes. Winning the toss-up states and their 49 electoral votes wouldn’t be enough for Trump -- he’d have to steal a blue state.
Trump and Clinton are both keeping an aggressive campaign schedule on the eve of the election, trying to drive out supporters in the final swing.
Trump, speaking Monday in Saratoga, Fla., the first of five rallies, said if he wins, “corrupt politicians and their donors lose.”
On the heels of the FBI once again closing its Clinton email investigation, he said: “Now it’s time for the American people to deliver justice at the ballot box.”
Before embarking on a final campaign swing through three battleground states, Clinton told reporters that she has "some work to do to bring the country together" and that she wants to be president for those who vote for her and those who don't.
In the latest ratings, North Carolina was shifted to “toss up” amid a heated race for the critical battleground.
Clinton long held a small lead in the polls there, but the race has tightened to the point where neither candidate has a clear advantage.
Utah has been a hard state to gauge, with independent candidate Evan McMullin surging in several October polls. McMullin could still potentially surprise Tuesday night, but Trump now seems to have the advantage.
Nevada, meanwhile, is shifting to “lean Democrat” as early voting in the state suggests a turnout surge among Hispanic voters coming out against Trump.

Researchers have uncovered the stone slab in Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre venerated as the resting place of Jesus Christ.
The slab, which has been covered by marble cladding since at least 1555 A.D., has been exposed as part of a major restoration project at the church, National Geographic reports.
"The marble covering of the tomb has been pulled back, and we were surprised by the amount of fill material beneath it,” Fredrik Hiebert, archaeologist-in-residence at the National Geographic Society and a partner in the restoration project, told National Geographic. “It will be a long scientific analysis, but we will finally be able to see the original rock surface on which, according to tradition, the body of Christ was laid."
RARE 'JERUSALEM' PAPYRUS RECOVERED FROM CAVE LOOTERS
The rock surface, or “burial bed” was hewn from the side of a limestone cave following Christ’s crucifixion, according to Christian tradition. Christ’s resurrection from the dead is a core tenet of Christian belief – the gospels say that the tomb was found to be empty by those who visited it a few days after the crucifixion.
The “burial bed” is now part of a small structure called the Edicule in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, National Geographic reports. The Edicule, rebuilt between 1808 and 1810 following its destruction by fire, is being restored by scientists from the National Technical University of Athens. The restoration, which includes the Edicule’s interior tomb, is being overseen by the National Technical University’s Chief Scientific Supervisor Antonia Moropoulu.
GOT $250,000? EARLIEST KNOWN 10 COMMANDMENTS INSCRIPTION UP FOR AUCTION
"We are at the critical moment for rehabilitating the Edicule," Moropoulou told National Geographic. "The techniques we're using to document this unique monument will enable the world to study our findings as if they themselves were in the tomb of Christ."
National Geographic reports that, after the marble slab was removed, a grey-beige stone surface was exposed. Scientists will use monitoring tools to study the surface.

Nigerian Footballer Shot Dead in Bayelsa State
Nigeria Premier League defender Izu Joseph was shot dead in his hometown of Okaki in southern Bayelsa state on 16 October. A defender with the Nigeria Premier Football League club Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan, Joseph had joined the team from Bayelsa United in 2014.
A stray bullet in crossfire between Joint Task Force (JTF) soldiers and militants allegedly killed Joseph during a raid. The military engagement was attached to the ongoing Operation Delta Safe (ODS) mission.
Operation Delta Safe (ODS) was first launched in July 2016, replacing the scrapped Operation Pulo Shield (OPS) as part of a broader change of tactics in the military operations for the Niger Delta region.
The Defense Headquarters announced that ODS would be based in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa state. Rear Admiral Joseph Osa Okojie, a naval personnel, was appointed as the Commander of the ODS to inject new tactics and tackle the emerging security challenges currently facing the Niger Delta region.
The renewed efforts have been met with mixed results. Led by the Niger Delta Avengers, myriad military groups have struck pipeline infrastructure this year belonging to almost all major international oil companies operating in the region including Shell, Exxon Mobil, Chevron, and Eni SpA.
The federal government sent dozens of tanks and 3,000 additional troops in September to join existing forces in the oil-rich Delta region. Many say the additional military personnel should be going to the creeks and mangrove swamps rather than cities such as Joseph’s hometown of Okaki.
